The person at the front desk is very involved and a very hard worker. The dining room staff are very nice and are dealing with a shortage of staff.... It's just a different atmosphere. My mom is still in rehabilitation. From what I can tell, the people that work there are fantastic. I haven't been able to visit it, so I have no idea but we're happy with it so far.

My friend is getting great care and attention from the staff. He raves about the food, it is a posted a menu each week. We were recommended this facility by another facility. The staff is helpful, quick to know your name, helpful with any and all issues.
My family member was malnourished and so unhappy there we had to move her. She fell several times, smelled of urine if you showed up unexpectedly and did not receive medical attention for many weeks for simple infections. Do due diligence and read Medicare reviews for the large number of citations each year. Two governments sites give it one and two star for a reason.

I don't know the description of the place. With the COVID19, we can't get in to see anything, but my mom seems to be somewhat happy there. Obviously, she wants to come home. I talked to the therapist, my mom seems to be doing well, and they seem to be taking good care of her.

After a family passing I still can’t even visit the home. “FaceTime visits” are a thing but don’t get excited, you only get 10, maybe 20 minutes!! I have seen my grandparents with random bruising too, possibly neglected in this home. Let’s not forget to mention the rude staff who won’t answer any questions, they just threaten to have you removed from property. I couldn’t visit my grandfather who was dying, for months, and they’re just NOW making an exception to visit after he already passed?! Oh and it’s only 30 minutes.This isn’t a prison, but they make it like one.
Short Term Rehabilitation and Long Term Care
Rock Run was a great place for our loved one. Too bad zero starts isn’t an option. All I have to say is Wow, they treat visiting family members like criminals where you can’t see your beloved in the home.
The nursing home didn''t like my previous assessment so they removed it. There are plenty of others w my complaints. Read them and you''ll understand why I was censured. They clearly don't know how you're suppost to move someone after they had hip surgery. I feel bad for the patients they have here that have to put up with this rude, rough staff.
