After a family passing I still can’t even visit the home. “FaceTime visits” are a thing but don’t get excited, you only get 10, maybe 20 minutes!! I have seen my grandparents with random bruising too, possibly neglected in this home. Let’s not forget to mention the rude staff who won’t answer any questions, they just threaten to have you removed from property. I couldn’t visit my grandfather who was dying, for months, and they’re just NOW making an exception to visit after he already passed?! Oh and it’s only 30 minutes.This isn’t a prison, but they make it like one.

The menu is wonderful, and they gave me anything I asked for. The nurses and aides were so nice and helpful. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to do whatever needs to be done.

The nurses are very accommodating and informative when I call. They're doing cognitive therapy and physical therapy. They have a beauty salon and ice cream parlor, but all of that have been closed because of COVID19. Belmont Village Geneva Road is located in the greater-Chicago area, on farmland north of Wheaton, in the Village of Carol Stream.
My Father has been at this facility 4 times and we have nothing but good things to say about it. His visits had always been for at least 3 months due to the amount of rehab he needed. He received wonderful care from the facility and the staff was very helpful. We may have to consider nursing home care for him in the future and would not hesitate to choose this facility.

In addition, the city also excelled in the area of inspections with a B+. Rounding out its report card, we gave the city grades of B and F for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively.
It is not right that they are allowed to get away with such low ratings and stay open. Sit at a meal and ask yourself if you could stand to be there. I came to this place for therapy for my hip. I was in and out in 2 weeks and couldn't be more pleased.
Rock Run was a great place for our loved one. Too bad zero starts isn’t an option. All I have to say is Wow, they treat visiting family members like criminals where you can’t see your beloved in the home.
However, they used curry in all their food, and I just don't like curry. At first, I didn't like the place at all. There were some old people sitting around in wheelchairs, and it kind of scared me.
Even with that I have enjoyed being here - it's a warm friendly place. Everyone - residents and staff have... We have been impressed with the friendly, helpful atmosphere here, from both the staff and the residents.
